Eneco invites public to Tullo Wind Farm drop-in session

A drop-in session designed to help local residents find out more information about the proposed Tullo Wind Farm extension is being held by Eneco Wind UK, the developer who owns and operates the site near Laurencekirk.
 
In April 2011, Eneco submitted a scoping request to Aberdeenshire Council to explore the potential of extending the 17MW Tullo Wind Farm which became fully operational last September.  
 
The drop-in session, being held at Laurencekirk Masonic Hall between 2pm and 8pm on Thursday 9th June, will also provide Eneco with a chance to listen to any feedback local residents may have about Tullo Wind Farm and their views on the potential extension.
 
At the event there will be an opportunity for members of the public to find out further details about the scoping request, current status and next steps of the wind farm, as well as achievements to date which include an annual community fund of £17,000 to benefit the local area and environment.

It will also give the Eneco team a chance to understand the opinions of those living local to the site and discuss views they may have about the extension.”
